Finance Officer
1 Position, Based in Padang/Pariaman
Finance Officer will be base in Pariaman â?" West Sumatra Province. The main functions of the post are to lead financial operation/activities Pariaman. He/she will supervise by Project Coordinator.
Key roles/responsibilities:
â?¢ To be responsible for budget management or financial control for West Sumatra Emergency Response
â?¢ Monthly processing of Cash Book, debtor, creditor, journal, assets
â?¢ Manage petty cash and cash flow
â?¢ Monthly and annual statutory returns
â?¢ Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial report and submitted to head of finance in Field Office level or donors
â?¢ Production of budgets and revised forecast on an monthly/quarterly/annual basis
â?¢ Prepare year-end schedule and working papers for audit and liaise with the auditor
â?¢ Supervise Finance Assistant or Cashier
â?¢ Be responsible for regular donor reporting and for the budget follow up
â?¢ Prepare development plan and conduct appraisal for finance assistant
â?¢ Other duties as required.
Experience, skill and qualification required:
â?¢ University degree in Accounting.
â?¢ Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least some at the international level. Experience in managing financial reporting, accounting operations business processes and systems
â?¢ Computer literacy in accounting package (specially QuickBooks), MS Word and Excel
â?¢ Strong facilitation, coordination skills and representation skills
â?¢ Excellent spoken and written English language skills
â?¢ Knowledge of INGO/UN Financial Regulations and Rules, policies and procedures pertaining to administrative, financial and related areas is desirable
